Colin Wilson on the ice at Preds' morning skate

In a bit of a pleasant surprise, Colin Wilson joined the rest of the Predators in their morning skate today. It's good to see at least a step back towards regular action for the Nashville rookie.

According to Glennon's update...

Wilson was also called into the PP special teams pregame meeting after practice by Coach Trotz as well. I think they are very excited about his potential. Really liked the quote from Trotz in THN saying how Wilson always comes out of a battle with the puck. Could be a real impact player when he returns, just has to get healthy now and adjust to the speed of the game…

Wilson stayed out there for quite a long time after the other players were done this morning, and he looked to be cutting hard, and making plenty of strong stops & starts, so hopefully that bodes well for an NHL debut sooner rather than later.

More fun than a stick to the face!

Yeah, it sounds like he was out doing conditioning work after the morning skate. As you say, it’s a very positive indication towards his recovery and hopefully he has no setbacks after pushing himself – boosting his confidence and allowing him to get his career started…

Anyone willing to bet he’s activated before Monday’s game?
