OtF Play of the Week (10/4-10/10)

1 out of 2 ain't bad, I guess. The horrible offensive zone play from the Predators just ruined Rinne's stellar performance against the Sabres. Again, any comments or suggestions to make these posts better are greatly appreciated. Enjoy! (Sorry this took so long. I was having some internet issues)

First off, we have last weeks winner.

D. Michael Santorelli's goal in the OT Shootout. This came after Legwand's sweet shootout goal that kept the contest going. This was a shot that usually works out in Turco's favor, but he missed it with his glove. This capped off, in my opinion, a really solid night by Santorelli.

A.(Avalanche @ Predators 10/8) Jason Arnott's goal at 11:02 in the 2nd( Steve Sullivan, Patric Hornqvist). Arnott can thank Sullivan and Hornqvist for this open shot. Sully did a nice job digging the puck out of there and Hornqvist blocked Craig Anderson's view.

B.(Avalanche @ Predators 10/8) Patric Hornqvist's goal at 12:31 in the 3rd( Ryan Suter, Jason Arnott). This goal was pretty much all due to Hornqvist. He created the traffic in front of the net for Suter to slap it in there, and then puts the rebound into the right side of the net. It was great to see the Predators respond to both goals by the Avalanche.

C.(Avalanche @ Predators 10/8) Patric Hornqvist's goal at 14:48 in the 3rd( Shea Weber, Ryan Suter). Yet again, another goal created by Hornqvist making his home in front of Anderson. This goal out it away for the Predators, and helped them move to 2-0.

D.(Sabres @ Predators 10/10) Pekka Rinne's multiple saves at 15:15 in the 3rd. Rinne was the only reason the Preds even have chance in this game. He had some amazing saves like this all night.
