Nashville Predators defenseman and NHLPA rep Dan Hamhuis opposed the formation of a group to investigate the firing of executive director Paul Kelly, but was overruled by a 23-4 vote of his peers, according to a column by Damien Cox this morning.

Nashville Predators defenseman and NHLPA rep Dan Hamhuis opposed the formation of a group to investigate the firing of executive director Paul Kelly, but was overruled by a 23-4 vote of his peers, according to a column by Damien Cox this morning.

It's a whole lot easier to get ready for the weekend on the heels of a Predators win, isn't it? While last night's 6-5 OT thriller ended the dreaded losing streak, there's definitely a mix of good and bad news to take out of it.
