By giving up 5 goals in the 3rd period at Ottawa last night, the Nashville Predators set a new team record for Goals Against in a single period. They have given up 4 GA in a period 29 times, including twice last week, against Edmonton and Dallas.
They also tied a record for combined goals in a period (7), which has now been done four times in franchise history.
