Predators Game Thread #13: Dallas @ Nashville

Dallas Stars at Nashville Predators, Oct 31, 2009 8:00 PM EDT

You'll have to excuse the lack of a Game Day Preview for tonight, as I'm preparing a vampire, an angel, and Darth Vader for a Trick or Treat run.

The news of note is that Peter Olvecky's been called up to fill a depth winger spot for Nashville, and Marty Turco is felled by the flu, so Alex Auld will get the start for Dallas. Jump into the comments below, as the Preds seek to get back to the .500 mark this evening.

Lets go Preds

3 in a row would be a real Treat

Sure would...

…and a loss would be scary!

Alright after one...

The power play converts again? Can it be a trend, perchance?

Bad play by Franson

Just laying his stick out there with no chance to break up the shot… Rinne can’t be happy about that. 2-1 Dallas.

Lets get it going

Big 5 on 3 kill and now Dallas with a penalty. Hope we can take advantage and tie this game up

Wow, what a battle in front!

Great goal by Hornqvist at the end of a looooooong battle in front of the net…

All in all a great win

Other than a few stretches where Dallas carried the game, I think the Preds were clearly the best team tonight. I mean 10 goals in the last 3 games, who is this team? I am becoming more and more optimistic about the season.

read the thread at Dallas' SB Nation site...

…and it’s all positive; no rude comments about the Preds at all, like on the CHI thread. I guess the negativity is a northern thing, since you don’t see that stuff here, either… : )
