Injured Predators making slow progress back to action

Jim Diamond of the Nashville Predators Examiner provides an update from the team's practice today, and it appears that we won't see many injured Preds back in the lineup for Thursday's home opener against Colorado:

[Joel] Ward said his status for Thursday’s home opener against the Colorado Avalanche is still up in the air.

"I definitely can’t say either way right now, obviously I have to wait to get clearance through our docs and our training staff," he said. "With crossing over and starts and stops, I can still feel a little bit of a nick there. I don’t want to be furthering it long-term, so we are just being pretty cautious with it."

Neither Colin Wilson or Jordin Tootoo are skating yet, but at least Ward participated in the first part of practice. Head over for Diamond's full article, which also includes news on J.P. Dumont.

I didn't see any of Wilson during the preseason

so I’m kinda interested in him. Will be nice to get all of these guys back though
