Do mixed martial arts belong in NHL fights?
Greg Wyshynski notes over at the Puck Daddy blog that David Poile is raising the issue of MMA-style fighting in the NHL at the league's general managers meeting this week, specifically driven by the Brad Staubitz/Jordin Tootoo fight last year, in which Staubitz used his elbows to break Tootoo's nose.
