Sorry for the delay, guys. It's been a busy week and I was hoping some highlights of the LA game would pop up somewhere. Being that the other game we played was just BLEH, I've decide to take all the winners so far and see what the play of the year has been so far. This week has already been much more kind to me as far as highlights go so it should be back to normal next week. Enjoy!

A.

(Stars @ Predators 10/3) Michael Santorelli's goal in the OT Shootout. This came after Legwand's sweet shootout goal that kept the contest going. This was a shot that usually works out in Turco's favor, but he missed it with his glove. This capped off, in my opinion, a really solid night by Santorelli.

B.

(Sabres @ Predators 10/10) Pekka Rinne's multiple saves at 15:15 in the 3rd. Rinne was the only reason the Preds even have chance in this game. He had some amazing saves like this all night.

C.

(Predators @ Capitals 10/17) Shea Weber's goal at 14:29 in the 2nd ( Patric Hornqvist, Marcel Goc). Finally! It's about time the big man got his goal. Nice laser shot right by Semyon Varlamov. This gave the team some energy after another depressing 1st period.

D.

(Predators @ Senators 10/22) Shea Weber's goal at 2:11 in OT ( Ryan Suter, J.P. Dumont). What?!?! A PP goal? He didn't get as much of the puck as he would have liked, but he got enough to end this wild game.

E.

(Predators @ Wild 10/28) Jerred Smithson's goal at 10:44 in the 3rd. These moves came out of nowhere. And for the game-winning SH goal?! Smithson has come up huge in the past few weeks. (True fact: Jerred Smithson taught Alex Ovechkin his legendary toe drag)
