The Nashville Predators' 3-1 victory in St. Louis lifted them back to .500 as they prepare to open a 5-game home stand against Montreal Saturday night.

We're finally at the end of another work week, and for Nashville Predators fans, it's been two long weeks of road games which concluded last night in St. Louis. With a steady batch of home games on the way, it's a good time to catch up on the latest hockey news.

Jim Diamond uses a grammatically-challenged comment from his previous article to take another swing at Forbes' annual report on NHL franchise valuations. It's a pity that Forbes gets so much run out of it, because as Jim says, "The Forbes report is a work of fiction based upon assumptions and guesses, not actual facts, and should not have any value to anyone concerned with things like accuracy or legitimacy."
