Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

John Glennon reports that Jason Arnott and Jordin Tootoo expect to play in the Preds' next game, Thursday at Anaheim. On the downside, however, defenseman Shea Weber will miss "one to two weeks after suffering a foot injury" in Saturday's game.

So much for the assurance that Barry Trotz gave Saturday night that they were just keeping Weber's ice time down, and that "he's fine."

Noooooo

Shea! Let’s see Franson, Klein, and Suter bang some from the point in his honor.

I would rather have Arnott and Tootoo out than Weber!

Well???

Hopefully it is just a single week but we all know how that usually goes….Weber back in two.
Great to see Arny and Toots back although Toots does not bring us defense. Arny can/should bring scoring.

The question is then, who goes on the line with Suter? Do we bring someone up so we don’t mess with what is working in Klein-Hammer etc….or do we mess with the lines?

This could be interesting….

At least it's not a particularly busy 1-2 weeks

At 2 weeks, he’d only miss 5 games. It could be worse…

More fun than a stick to the face!
