I don’t have a good feeling about this game, but then again, I didn’t have good feelings about the Avs and Wings games, either.

Dirk, do you like the new 3rds?

I like most everything about the new 3rds, except...

1) I wish the font used for the lettering and numbers was more distinctively Nashville, and
2) I love the checkerboard idea, but just would like more contrast than the dark blue on black. You can’t see it from five feet away.

I like em but...

They just kinda look like the color was bled out of them…They surely dont remind me of any original six jerseys like they claim…IMO

Preds getting the puck down in close to the goal… just have to finish one of these opportunities off.

I'm in for one.

If I hit a hole-in-one on this grand slam the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.

you're set as well

It might take a few days, so be patient.

Good to start the period killing that PK, but now they’ve got to get some offensive pressure.

Speak of the devil.. Good work and draw a penalty.

Grr...

Stinking whistle – almost got the first goal there…

What's it going to take to score a goal?

Mason’s been good, but the Blues have played like a goon-squad after the whistle. I don’t see the point of dressing Belak if he’s not going to be unleashed…

We're Waiting

Well, Trotz is waiting for a Blues skater to actually break a stick on someone’s back

Now that we’re losing we can actually win this game

by 3DLink on Nov 27, 2009 9:35 PM EST reply actions

I hope JP is alright

I wonder why Trotz didn’t put Hornquist on the top line for the last few shifts of the second. He did really well early in the season playing on the top line.

by jerseypredsfan on Nov 27, 2009 9:48 PM EST reply actions

That top line could use some grit about now, and Hornqvist benefits from the extra minutes.

by 3DLink on Nov 27, 2009 9:51 PM EST up reply actions

I’m becoming less and less enamored of Hornqvist’s play. Unless surrounded by elite talent, he just can’t create chances on his own.

by Dirk Hoag on Nov 27, 2009 9:53 PM EST up reply actions

Yeah. Haven’t heard a peep from him since he moved down lines.

by jerseypredsfan on Nov 27, 2009 9:54 PM EST up reply actions

I want to say its because of how limited his minutes have been, but I’m sure some of that is due to performance

by 3DLink on Nov 27, 2009 9:56 PM EST up reply actions

I think Legwand was just out there for a faceoff in the defensive end – once that line got a stoppage, Dumont came back out and joined Arnott & Sullivan.

Penalties

Is it just me or are the Blues taking some silly penalties in this game?

by 3DLink on Nov 27, 2009 9:57 PM EST reply actions

They've had plenty that haven't gotten called as well

The refs are letting lots of rough stuff around the net go tonight.

JP hurt?

I’m not in town. What’s the word?

by Youarethegovt on Nov 27, 2009 10:23 PM EST reply actions

He’s fine. Took an awkward fall late in the second and missed a shift or two but he’s back in.

by jerseypredsfan on Nov 27, 2009 10:24 PM EST up reply actions

LOL. Figures once I leave the room to make a phone call we score. You’re welcome guys.

Those jerseys sure look sharp though

by 3DLink on Nov 27, 2009 10:31 PM EST reply actions

They may look good but the Preds are now 0-1-0 in their new uni.

by jerseypredsfan on Nov 27, 2009 10:34 PM EST up reply actions

Well, either that’s what we get for using Detroit’s lettering and number fonts

or

how long before we can get out the holy water, strap on the tin foil, and call the new uniforms cursed?

I blame it on the pants.

Mason, as usual, was excellent against the Preds
