I don’t understand all the teasing about Shea Weber. Just because he came to the game, did anybody at all think he might play?

Sounded like a pretty strong period

except for the penalties at the end

Well, 0-0 after 1 ain't bad

But starting the 2nd trying to kill a 5-on-3 PP will be tough.

on the other hand

killing a 5-on-3 from a bad call could really fire ’em up

... the dreaded 2nd period

Christie kicks it high and short...Gonna be fielded by Lorenzo Neal at the 25...He dishes it back to Wycheck...He throws it across the field to Dyson...

Good Question, Crispy

Why do we always dump and chase?

"Get to the Choppa!"

by PredHead on Nov 7, 2009 5:08 PM EST reply actions

Dump & Chase can work if, as you’re dumping, you have guys chasing. All too often, though, the dump is a last-second decision because guys aren’t coming up to the line as a unit with speed. It gets dumped, nobody’s ready to go after it, and the PP loses 20 seconds or more…

I get the dump and chase when were 5 on 5

But doing it on the PP makes absolutely no sense.

It can work if the PK tries to line up across the blueline and deny entry with possession. The Preds just do a horrid job of it usually.

I understand you can’t always break in with speed, but it seems like we look for the dump and chase first. As if there’s no alternative.

With Erat in...

is Thuresson a scratch?

Question:

since there is no TV coverage, will there be any video highlights for the game?

Like I said in my Game Day Preview, the Preds were set up to dominate this game…

(don’t actually go over there and read it, I need to rewrite it thoroughly)
