Jack Daniel's Arena

How incredible would it be to watch hockey in the Jack Daniel's arena?  Ever since we said "So long!" to the Sommet Center I have been salivating over the thought of Jack Daniel's Arena in downtown Nashville.  It sounds awesome, and it makes perfect sense.  What could be better than a great Tennessee product joining with a great Tennessee hockey team?

I'm so excited about this prospect that I can't just sit around a hope.  We saw what Pred Nation could do on the grassroots level back in 2007.  Lets see if we can help the Preds land a good reliable sponsor during these trying times.

If you would like to attend 41 hockey games, in addition to concerts and other events, in Jack Daniel's Arena, then take a minute to tell the folks down in Lynchburg- http://www.jackdaniels.com/contact.aspx - I'll bathe in whiskey if I have to!

Something cleverer than arena needs to be thought up

The Jack Daniel’s Barrel?

"We really feel like we can go 10-0 in these last ten games...we’re trying to do something nobody has ever done." Chris Johnson
"This is the only building in the NHL that the fans get up and cheer for no apparent reason just to support us." - Dan Ellis

I don't know

Wouldn’t it then be the Cracker Barrel Barrel?

Umm...

Jack Daniels dropped their sponsorship of the Suite Level Club a few season’s ago and it was only recently been re-branded as the Patron Tequila Club (sp?). Jack Daniels also had sponsored one of the large posts inside the arena (corners of the shoot twice end), but dropped that sponsorship as well.

I like the idea, but really don’t see them suddenly jumping up to buy the naming rights to the whole building…

How about Gibson Arena?

Gibson’s world headquarters are located here in Nashville. This is a match made in heaven in my mind. It would be great if someone at least posed the idea to Gibson. Gibson Arena…..wow,.has a definate ring to it, doesn’t it? Anything is better than Sommet Center, never particularly liked the sound of that name and I won’t miss it.

Not a bad idea...

A strong international brand, and fits in with the Music City vibe.

Welcome to OtF, by the way!
