Struck by a Shea Weber slapshot Saturday night, Jordin Tootoo will now miss an extended period of time, according to the Nashville Predators' official Twitter account.
It's a tough break (pun thoroughly intended) for Tootoo, who has been bringing the combination of physical play and discipline that made him so productive two seasons ago, and he was even chipping in offensively on the third line alongside Marcel Goc.
