It seems like a lot of time is being spent on the wrong side of the ice (based on nhl.com’s scoreboard feed).
Bad penalty by Smithson
He was pissed at getting roughed up by one of the Tampa D, but you can’t just retaliate with a cross-check like that. Power play coming up for the Lightning…

TB isn’t Columbus. They’re far more dangerous. We need to find the discipline that we’ve had up to this point.
Both were bad penalties
Smithson’s was an angry retaliation, Suter’s a careless high-stick. Can’t make mistakes like that.
