Sending him down enabled him a game or two on the ice rather than sitting in the pressbox. This trip to Western Canada poses a logistical challenge if we lose a blueliner so the 7th d-man makes sense. It’s a lot easier to get from Milwaukee to Nashville on short notice than to Alberta.
