Jerred Smithson to miss Predators/Blackhawks back-to-back set, at least
Bryan Mullen reports that after taking a shot off his left arm in the 1st period last night, Jerred Smithson "will not play this weekend". That would cover both games in the home-and-home series with Chicago on Saturday and Sunday.

Do you anticipate a call-up, or will we just have to play Scatchard and Belak?

Good question; Belak actually played decently the last couple times he dressed, and after Scatchard’s penalties last night I doubt he’ll get much ice time. Perhaps we might see Thuresson once again to help on the wing?
