Nashville Predators assign Alexander Sulzer to Milwaukee
From the Nashville Predators:
Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned defenseman Alexander Sulzer (al-ehx-AN-duhr SUHLT-suhr) to Milwaukee (AHL).
Sulzer, 25 (5/30/84), has one assist in 10 games with the Predators this season, posting his first career point/assist on Oct. 22 at Ottawa, while averaging 13:10 of ice time and notching a plus-three rating.
Many have been expecting a forward like Dave Scatchard to perhaps be sent down instead, so this is a bit of a surprise.
Germany announces their Winter Olympics hockey roster on Wednesday, and I can't imagine that Sulzer's lack of playing time has helped his cause any.

Milwaukee plays Monday and Tuesday
So, in fact Krupp gets two more opportunities to evaluate him for Team Germany, while we also keep one of our developing young defensemen playing hockey instead of sitting in a hotel…
