The Preds’ second-year forward has been credited with a goal originally given to defenseman Cody Franson during Sunday’s 5-4 loss to Chicago. Hornqvist deflected the shot early on, before it got past Blackhawks’ goalie Antti Niemi.
Hornqvist’s dozen goals are second on the team behind Martin Erat.

Unfortunate for Franson, but...
Hornqvist definitely deflected that puck. You could hear a deflection on the initial broadcast and see it on the replay from the corner shown on FSTN. Now my only question is…will I get that goal credited to my fantasy team from last week?
