From the Nashville Predators:
The Cincinnati Cyclones, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Montreal Canadiens and Nashville Predators, learned this afternoon that they will have two individuals representing the team and the American Conference at the 2010 ECHL All-Star Game presented by Reebok on Tuesday, January 22 at Ontario, California, including rookie netminder Jeremy Smith.
Nashville's second choice (54th overall) in the 2007 Entry Draft will be making his first trip to the All-Star Game. Smith, 20, has turned in an 8-6-1 record with a 2.65 goals against average-sixth-best in the ECHL and second among all rookies. He had a shutout in his pro debut-a 2-0 blanking at Johnstown on October 17.
It's always good to see positive news down on the farm...
