Not much of a Satan worshipper?

The players have spoken out asking for offensive help, and David Poile has publicly stated that he's interested in acquiring talent at today's trade deadline.

With that in mind, how does Pittsburgh's Miroslav Satan go unclaimed on the waiver wire? He could have been picked up for NOTHING in terms of hockey value, and only a fraction of his $3.5 million salary remains to be paid before he becomes a free agent this summer. He would seem to be exactly the sort of experienced sniper that Nashville needs on the wing.

Unless Mr. Poile has something big in the works, this is going to be an awfully disappointing day for the Predators and their fans.

Jeez, I dunno. He’s really struggled in Pittsburgh this season.

A matter of perspective

I still think he would have provided a good shot in the arm as a 2nd/3rd line & PP specialist… and you can’t beat the price.

More fun than a stick to the face!
