For one night, anyway, Nashville Predators fans need to cheer on the Chicago Blackhawks, as they host the St. Louis Blues in the only game this evening which affects the Preds' playoff chances.

St. Louis is just one point back of Nashville, and after tonight both of them will have just 5 games remaining.

In Preds-related news, John Glennon reports that Jason Arnott is due to participate in a part of tomorrow's practice with the team. At this point, I can't imagine that even if things went well he'd play before next Thursday's game against Detroit (just my hunch, I have no scoop here).
