Reminder: Thursday's the day down at the Sommet

Predators fans who have renewed their season tickets, or want to buy for the first time should head on down to the Sommet Center tomorrow between 5 and 7 p.m.:

In order to accommodate all interested parties, the Nashville Predators have extended the 2/20 Loyalty Plan deadline for new season-ticket sales and season-ticket renewals to Thursday, April 23. This unique 2/20 Loyalty Plan freezes season-ticket rates at the 2008-2009 season ticket prices for two years through the 2010-2011 season.

Fans and season ticketholders may also come to the Sommet Center from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 23 to purchase or renew their season tickets. These fans are invited to an exclusive pizza and soft-drink party hosted by Terry Crisp, Pete Weber, Tom Callahan, Associate Coach Brent Peterson and Assistant Coach Peter Horachek and GNASH.

"We have been extremely pleased with the response we have experienced thus far with renewals and especially the 2/20 Loyalty Plan," Predators Executive Vice President Chris Parker said. "We feel this is an extremely unique program and hope this extra time will allow more fans to participate."

The 2/20 Loyalty Plan allows full- or half-season ticket owners to lock in their prices for the next two seasons, and pay over the course of 20 months, along with a host of other benefits. It's an innovative offering, and if you've been sitting on the fence, you might want to take this opportunity to sign up, and chow down on some pizza with Pete & Terry while you're at it!

One thing I've clarified with the team is that "anyone who has purchased or will be purchasing any of the plans (anywhere from 13-game to full-season) for the 2009-2010 season is invited." So if you can't make the full-season ticket commitment, don't let that stop you from swinging by.
