PrintToday the NHL released the list of finalists for the Norris Trophy (best defenseman), and Nashville's Shea Weber didn't quite make the cut. The competition is incredibly tough for the Norris every year, and I suspect we'll see Weber contend in years ahead. This isn't the shaft job that Pekka Rinne got yesterday, after all. Who else looks at a season like that as an off-year?
The anchor on the best defensive team in the league this year, to go with excellent offensive numbers.
Offensive production like we haven't seen in ages from the blueline.
