"The Predators are clinging to the last playoff spot in the West, just one win (and zero points) ahead of St. Louis, and they finally got some rare good news on the injury front when No. 1 centre Jason Arnott returned."
Sportsnet.ca

The Hockey News

The Hockey News's power rankings are featuring the Preds, though moving us down 5 to #14
"Could really use a power play boost over the last week"
and they have this to say. You probably won't like the last sentence.
Given all the organization has endured, maybe more attention should be directed at the fact the Nashville Predators have a good chance to make their fifth consecutive post-season appearance.
Through unstable ownership, salary dumps and Alexander Radulov’s stunning jump to the Kontinental League last summer, coach Barry Trotz once again has his disciplined team steered toward the post-season.
Nashville has yet to win a playoff round and likely won’t do it this year, either, but still, on a team with no real stars, give Trotz and GM David Poile credit for finding a way to keep this thing consistently on the rails.

In Craig Cunstance's ranks , he talks about Barry Trotz's coaching. But it's not just this year that's unbelievable, it's every freakin' year! By the way, he moves us down 1 spot.
"If we were naming a coach for Canada in 2010, it would be Barry Trotz. The job he's done in Nashville this season is unbelievable."
Columbus Dispatch

The Bluejackets' paper drops us 2 spots to 15.
"Might have to win back-to-back games -- in Detroit and Minnesota -- to make a fifth straight playoff appearance."
