I wanted to pass along Happy Father's Day wishes to all the dads out there, take the opportunity to relax a bit today and appreciate your own fathers as well.

For me, I think back to my dad helping me lace up the double-runners as he taught me to skate at the local rink, or helping my brothers and I shovel off the pond in front of our house, which froze over perfectly for a few weeks every winter. He also took me to my first NHL game, at the old Olympia in Detroit, to watch the Red Wings play the Atlanta Flames back in the 1970's.
