We can't comment on the specifics of anyone else's bid but what we can say is that the new interest demonstrates what Jim Balsillie has been saying all along: that there's a great market for hockey in Southern Ontario.
Bill Walker, spokesman for the Make It Seven campaign, when asked to comment on the news yesterday that a group wants to bring an NHL expansion team to Toronto.
