Greg Zanon and Ville Koistinen leave Nashville via free agency
I was really tempted to use the headline "Zanon Goes Wild", but there you go.
In Memorium
Greg Zanon signed with the Minnesota Wild for 3 years, $5.8 million. His new teammates will surely appreciate his shot-blocking and work ethic.
Ville Koistinen went to Florida for 2 years, $2.4 million. To be honest, I don't know how he earned a raise over the $700,000 he made last year in Nashville, but good luck in Miami...

I’m still looking for us to replace these players with outside help.

Thanks Zanon ...
Hate to see Zanon go, but wish him all the best. Wasn’t Ville already angling to leave earlier in the season? Can’t fault him for taking that money, anyhow.
Ville certainly wants more ice time than he was getting in Nashville, things just didn’t work out. I just don’t understand how he got such a big raise and a two-year contract out of Florida!
More fun than a stick to the face!
On the Forecheck is SB Nation's blog covering the Nashville Predators.
Florida needed a shootout specialist ;)
