Theo Fleury's comeback... should it continue in Nashville?

This morning at the Puck Daddy blog, Sean Leahy celebrates the comeback attempt of 41-year-old Theo Fleury with the Calgary Flames. He continues to produce offensively, but the roster situation in Calgary still makes it a long shot that he'll fit on Brent Sutter's squad.

But remember, Fleury isn't under contract with the Flames at this time, he's in camp on a tryout basis. Considering Nashville's goal-scoring issues, should David Poile entertain the thought of offering Fleury a two-way contract if he keeps on scoring? Jeremy at Section303.com was in favor of that weeks ago...

I feel like he’s bound to get hurt pretty soon and is too unknown a quantity even healthy at his age to take a chance on.

He doesn’t have the greatest history, but a cheap two-way contract isn’t a bad idea. I wouldn’t sign him to a one way deal though.

Section 326 is in the house!!!
