Tim Panaccio at CSNPhilly.com reports that the Philadelphia Flyers have traded the rights to defenseman Patrik Hersley to the Nashville Predators for future considerations (hat tip to Broad Street Hockey).
Originally from Malmo, Sweden, Hersley was drafted by Los Angeles in the fifth round of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, and traded to Philadelphia on July 1, 2008. He has yet to play in the NHL.
