In what comes as a surprise to many Preds fans (given his one-way contract), defenseman Alexander Sulzer was included in a group of four players assigned to Nashville's AHL affiliate in Milwaukee, as reported by John Glennon of the Tennessean. UPDATE: Glennon's original article indicated 5 players were sent down, the team's press release this afternoon cites just four. The difference is likely that O'Reilly must clear waivers before going.
The full press release from the team appears after the jump, which includes the present roster:
Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reduced the club's roster to 25 players, assigning forwards Triston Grant and Peter Olvecky and defensemen Alexander Sulzer and Nolan Yonkman to the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL).
