Steve Sullivan likely out for Saturday vs. Anaheim, Ward & Erat might return
Jim Diamond of the Nashville Predators Examiner writes that after getting boarded last night by Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Andrew Alberts, Steve Sullivan may miss tomorrow night's contest vs. Anaheim:
"Win a game, lose a player," Predators coach Barry Trotz said.
Trotz went on to say that the injury was not related to the back troubles that sidelined the reigning Masterton Trophy winner for nearly two years.
"I don’t think it is anything too significant where he is going to miss a lot of time," Trotz said. "He’s probably a little bit doubtful for Saturday, but I think he will be back quickly."
Fortunately, it also sounds like Joel Ward and Martin Erat are expected back in action, so while the team is still down a few key parts, at least things are headed in the right direction. I wouldn't be surprised to hear someone getting sent back down to Milwaukee either today or tomorrow if those two are indeed ready to go. It may not be Ben Guite, however, as he would have to clear waivers first, unlike Nick Spaling, Andreas Thuresson or Mike Santorelli (assuming it's a forward who goes).
UPDATE: Now it sounds like Sully's probable, but Jason Arnott is questionable. Yikes!

Santorelli. Sure, he’s good in the shootout but thats been about it. He’s really out of place unless he can line up with Hornqvist and Erat or something, and the Admirals need him. Spaling and Thuresson have really earned spots, IMO.
