With Lindback and Mark Dekanich as Nashville’s only goaltenders set for the game, it was the first goalie duo with no previous NHL starting experience to enter a game since Nov. 26, 2006 when Anaheim had Michael Wall and David McKee. Anaheim won that game 5-3.
Bryan Mullen at the Tennessean digs up the answer to a question I had wondered about. Going into an NHL game with two totally raw goalies is incredibly rare.
