I rather compare the Preds to another 1991 baseball team.

The 1991 Minnesota Twins, you know, the team that won the World Series that year? One of my favorite moments, and known as the best World Series ever (according to ESPN and Twins’ fans). They went from worst-to-first as well, had a 15-game winning streak. And mostly off of a strong group of nobodys with exception of Puckett and Knoblauch. (Think Weber and Tootoo, though Sully is more Puckett’s size).

Travesty that Brent Seabrook makes the list over Ryan Suter. There’s not a single unit of measurement that can prove Seabrook is a better player than Suter. Every metric out there says differently.

News and Questions

Any news on Sulzer clearing waivers? Did Parent get picked up by anybody?

Is Lundmark really going to play for this team? Didn’t see him play in the preseason, but based on the past puzzled that he made this team over guys like Spaling, Thuresson, Geoff, and Halischuk.

Everyone cleared waivers today, including Sulzer and Parent. Lundmark has been injured for a while now, so he might start the season on IR.
