Pardon the delay in getting this up. It's been a very hectic week (and a really depressing one as a Preds fan). However, there were still some nice highlights (this week's selection does not include Sunday's game, as it will be in next week's). Hopefully this will get you pumped for tonight's game and not put you into a deeper depression.
Videos after the jump...
A. Goal: Francis Bouillon(1)- Jordin Tootoo (4), Marcel Goc(2) (8:58, 1st) 11/3/10I still think that SK74 got a piece of this one. Goc (welcome back!) and Tootoo (tied for 5th on the team in points!) worked hard along the boards and were rewarded with Cube's goal.
B. Goal: Sergei Kostitsyn(2)- Jordin Tootoo(5), Kevin Klein(2) (9:28, 1st) 11/3/10
Well, here's the reward part of the risk/reward deal with SK74. Hopefully we don't see that risk part. You don't ever see Predators players knock down passes at center ice to get a chance on goal. The whole play was just pretty.
C. Goal: Patric Hornqvist(4)- Colin Wilson(4), Cal O'Reilly(7) (12:44, 2nd) 11/3/10
This is Horndog's 2nd baseball style goal this year. O'Reilly is becoming a huge playmaker for this team. Oh, and look what happens when you put Wilson out on the ice with talent. A goal. And did I mention that this was a PP goal?! If Suter were playing, this would have been the last goal of the game...
D. Save: Pekka Rinne (15:22, 2nd) 11/3/10
Rinne didn't have a very good week. Rinne had an absolutely horrible week. This wasn't because he didn't have highlight saves, though. It was the easy shots that he couldn't stop. I don't know which save is better in this video, the actual save on Fiddler, or O'Reilly's save right before that.
E. Save: Pekka Rinne (15:05, 1st) 11/6/10
See above for the first part of the paragraph. If the rest of the game weren't so bad, this save would have been even better.
F. Goal: Shane O'Brien(1)- Cal O'Reilly(8), Sergei Kostitsyn(1) (17:36, 3rd) 11/6/10
If you asked me who would be the point leader at this point of the season 2 months ago, Cal O'Reilly would not have been even close. Maybe around 8 or 9 on the list.
