Tuesday's notes: Preds limp down the road to Phoenix

Perhaps the most intriguing story surrounding the Nashville Predators these days is on the injury front - so many guys are in various stages of readiness, that the potential lineup changes at a moment's notice. While the team is heading out west for some important games, the bright spot is that they at least have a few days off to help guys recover.

Follow after the jump, then, for a preview of Nashville's upcoming opponents, a look at what the game of hockey can mean for a father & son, and an inside report from Gary Bettman's Halloween party...

The Preds don't play at home again until Saturday, November 13 vs. the Chicago Blackhawks, but you can plan ahead and use the OtF discount to save money on Nashville Predators tickets for this, or any other home game. Heck, you can even get an early start on your holiday gift-shopping and get some Preds tickets for stocking-stuffers!

Iginla following in Messier’s skatesteps - The Globe and Mail
Can Jarome Iginla still lead the Calgary Flames where they need to go? Or at this point in his career, does he need a fresh start? This talk sounds quite similar to that surrounding Steve Yzerman in the summer of 1995, after the Red Wings finally made the Stanley Cup Finals only to be swept by New Jersey. The problem is, I don't see the Sutters putting together a contender any time soon around him.
