If this is the case...
Where in the world is the call-up? We obviously aren’t fine with the current lineup.
Christie kicks it high and short...Gonna be fielded by Lorenzo Neal at the 25...He dishes it back to Wycheck...He throws it across the field to Dyson...

I couldn’t agree more, obviously something doesn’t work right now. I don’t care who we recall, just something to spark us.
Maybe we could steal Radulov, I’m only hoping
Hard to steal something you own the rights to.

right now
anything is better than nothing, which is what we have.i’m finding it very hard to get excited about our games. is there any word on Lombardi????????
nope
That’s the simple answer. We really haven’t heard anything positive on that front.

Actually, we hear very little about any injuries. The Legwand situation is only the latest example. It’s a ridiculous if longstanding problem that goes not only to the integrity of the Predators but the reputation of the game itself. This sort of closely held information could be, and perhaps has been, manipulated to the detriment of professional hockey. This is a big, big scandal waiting to happen.

No scandal at all
This is official NHL policy not to disclose injury information. It’s not a Predators thing, or an integrity issue.
It’s a policy I entirely disagree with, as it robs the media of ample opportunity to talk about the game (how will so-and-so’s injury impact this matchup, etc.) such as we see all the time with the other pro sports.

Other sports may be more aware of the millions wagered each week on the outcome of their games. The NFL certainly is, which is one good reason the league requires prompt and accurate injury reports. Now consider the NHL. If you knew Lidstrom were suffering from a serious injury, but the Wings described it as an unspecified “lower body” problem, would that affect your over/under considerations in future Detroit games? I’m simply suggesting that the NHL’s opaque policy leaves a lot of room for misuse and potential scandal.

(aka 2 weeks)
He’ll be out 2 weeks. I have heard this expression by Trotz before. It equates to he’s still really feelin’ it and he won’t play until maybe the end of next week. Anyways get better Leggy! Despite what the others might say…WE NEED YOU PAL!
