Look for me at The Flying Saucer!

Will be wearing my #22 Radulov jersey! :0

Side note: Very happy about the team right now! I know the teams we killed aren’t really that great this year (or any year lately) but I think the boys are really starting to have fun and thats always a good sign. I am so happy for Anders Lindback. The dude is extremely nice and you can see the joy in his face when Rinne has a good game. Even “On the Fly” is giving massive respects right now! They called him Anders Lindback-to-back. I dvr’ed it.

Great name

And I loved Tom Callahan’s story about how the Preds “finessed” Lindy’s selection in the seventh round.

They also called him Anders Lindmark on there.

great game last night!!

i also watch On The Fly, and they really talked up the Preds. it was great to see. also last week NHL LIVE had pete weber on and they also had good things to say. Pete gave a great interview. i did not realize how long he has been in the sports business as an announcer. a really classy guy.

So I go to the Slapshot Radio Show...

I got my drink on, paid the tab and went up to the desk where the show was. Had my jersey in hand and was trying to initiate some kind of pre-autograph conversation when i noticed there were no sharpie. So I motion to the program director (‘autograph’ using my hand). He digs through his bag and after a while he disappears and in about 3 minutes the host of the show says to me, “We’ll get you next time.”.

So I leave the show, feeling like I had wasted my time. And I listen as I drive back. What a jerk! ’We’ll get you next time.‘, he says. Yeah I’m sure the next show the guests will be the same! So I listen to the show from the car and when I get home the host announces "I’ll give 2 tickets to tomorrows game for the first person who tells me where Anders Lindback is from, a game I was going to get tickets to. I nearly threw up my Dos Perros.

You mad, bro?

Really, think you’re overreacting just a little? Maybe the host was just a little dick-ish there, but they give out tickets a lot. I don’t see the problem?

by DonBorvio on Dec 14, 2010 10:56 PM EST up reply actions

No, not mad...

I was semi drunk when I wrote that (burp blurb) :) Regrettably, I wrote it and can’t unwrite it. I’m just sayin’ if you put shows on like this you should be prepared for that kind of thing. I was ready to tell Lindback to sign next to Peter Forsberg I’d thought he’d get a kick out of that since he’s from Sweden which was the answer to the question for the tickets. But that’s my fault that I didn’t stay for that moment. No, I just moped like a little baby Preds fan feeling sorry for myself. hehe

But no I’m not mad I just wish it had been different. And I will go to the next one.

Sometimes..

Erat will blow me off. He’s not much for signing sometimes.

Thanks!

I’m gonna get a ticket for tonight even though they are playing that atrocious country song. I’m not sure if I can be at practice Friday but I will try. Thanks!
