Thursday's news: Young guns carrying the Preds
Preds fans are walking with a little extra pep in their step after last night's thrilling come-from-behind win over San Jose, a game which looked pretty hopeless heading into the final five minutes. In the absence of prominent forwards like Matthew Lombardi, David Legwand, and Patric Hornqvist, the young guns stepped up, such as Sergei Kostitsyn and Colin Wilson. Can they keep things rolling through back-to-back games coming up against New Jersey and Los Angeles, though?
Follow after the jump for all the reaction to last night's game, a review of the first episode of HBO's new "24/7" miniseries featuring the Pittsburgh Penguins and Washington Capitals, and more hand-wringing in Canada over the appropriateness of cheerleaders at a hockey game...

Still have a smile on my face this morning..
Ear to ear, baby. What an amazing last 10 minutes of a game. Any word yet this morning on how long Horny may be out, or who we may call up?

Schedule...
We’re in the middle of a good test for the PREDS right now, and we’re faring pretty well, so far. We beat Detroit on the road…came from behind last night against a good San Jose team, and have LA, Chicago, St. Louis and Dallas coming up. We’ll learn a lot about the PREDS after these next few games.
sk74
I am glad that a great talent like sk74 is on the right path to having the kind of career that was predicted for him.Seeing redemption like this is very gratifying to watch.
Not if you're a Habs fan...

I agree. I was a little optimistic at first, but he has really turned out to be a good signing for us.
