The Sky is Falling!!!
LOL, just kidding!
In regards to Sully, let him stay out until he’s fully healthy. He was invisible since he was injured. I’d rather have him healthy again for the long haul than having him rush back and either be ineffective again or re-injure himself.
On the good news front, Legwand is probable for Tuesday night and he was skating on a line with Smithson and Ward in practice today.
Tootoo was absent from practice, but is healthy and will play tomorrow.
Erat was also missing today, but I haven’t seen an update on him yet. Again, looking at the bright side…Trotz has said Klasen will remain in the lineup!

A shame about Sully, but I’d rather him not play hurt. Assuming Erat cannot play tomorrow, I’d go with:
33/16/27
58/9/74
71/11/22
13/25/29
Spals to the wall.
I think Legwand's line is set...
He’ll play on the shutdown line with Smithson and Ward for now. I’d go with…
33-16-27
58-9-74
25-11-29
22-13-71

Was he on that line in practice, or are you speculating? If its the latter, I’d prefer Trotz make use of Legwand’s (limited, but more than Spaling) offensive ability and try to ignite Dumont. Spaling can play the shutdown role fine, he can’t create chances.

Disagree.
Spaling made a pretty nice play last night, didn’t net anything but was strong to the net and at least he shoots the puck. Is it just me, or do our guys consistently skate by the goal instead of stopping to chip in rebounds. They are always going behind the goal, then get trapped back there while the other team pushes the puck up and creates yet another scoring chance on us.
BTW, Seth, if you went to the practice today, did the Preds play to the puck, or did they just lay in wait for it to come to them. The most frustrating thing about our system is our inability to aggressively go after the puck. We get beat by other teams all the time in this aspect. Thoughts?

That was his line today...
I spoke briefly with Jim Diamond after practice today who reported that Legwand skated with Smithson and Ward today, which was what I assumed would happen anyways…
Besides that, I just put together the reports from Josh Cooper and Jim Diamond this afternoon to get my update…
Personally, I think Dumont is the ultimate square peg on this roster…I’ll be re-posting a question that I originally put out on Twitter last night later this afternoon or tomorrow morning…

Update from The Zone
According to 104.5 the Zone, Tootoo has entered a substance abuse program, hence his absence from practice today.
Prayers go to him and his family in going through this difficult time.
