I hope the Preds have as much energy tonight as the Nature Boy does in that clip. Man, that takes me back to Flyin’ Brian Pillman and Double J Jeff Jarrett at the fairgrounds.

Although I will say that I actually did have everything for St. Louis ready to go, but wanted to make sure the Atlanta trip went well before we announced round two.

Otherwise, we’d run into: “If you thought that was a disaster…wait until we add a hotel to the mix!”

One more article to read, from the Freep:

…the Red Wings return to work tonight with a game against the Nashville Predators, whose roster includes one of the few players who can make defenseman Brad Stuart flinch…Stuart is used to getting zinged with pucks as they bounce off protective gear, but the odds of getting a welt tonight is greater because of Nashville defenseman Shea Weber, whose monster shot Stuart called “the scariest, for sure.”

by Chris Burton on Dec 8, 2010 12:25 PM EST reply actions

Maybe Stuart should stand in front of the net. From what I’ve seen so far, and I’ve seen every game, not much chance of being struck there if Weber tees it up from the blue line.

Lamenting about injuries doesn't alter the facts

This piece is about how the team has performed. It’s about wins and losses. The team is what the scoreboard and standings say it is. What could have been is only speculation and that’s all it will ever be.

I'm not quibbling with their grade

Along with each team they’ve highlighted how their season is going so far, and for the Preds, it was about the budget and the impending Shea Weber negotiations. Nobody who’s actually watched this team would say those have been the main themes so far, though.

If Legwand plays...

who sits??
Well, after reading all the level-headed expert analysis in the comments sections recently, I would have to say klein should sit.
Who should play his D spot? Does it really matter. Throw anyone back there, they obviously will be better than klein, who is the worst D-man ever.

(seriously though, my money is on JP)
