Need more motivation to run a 5K? How about a signed stick from Steve Sullivan

So you've been thinking about possibly running in the Nashville Predators' Fangtastic 5K this Saturday, but haven't quite gotten around to registering yet? Steve Sullivan is offering up a reward if you sign up for the 5K run/walk, and follow him on Twitter (@Sullivan26) as well:

You can get all the details and sign up at nashvillepredators.com/5Krunwalk. The fee is $35, which includes a special Smashville 5K t-shirt and a voucher to a Preds game as well.

Kudos to Sullivan for leveraging social media to get the word out about this fun event. Sully is one of two Preds who are very active on Twitter, along with goaltender Dan Ellis (@dellis39). Yesterday, for example, Ellis announced the birth of his daughter via Twitter. Back in September during training camp, Sully and Ellis got into a little Twitter-based trash talking after a team scrimmage, and the drama over Sullivan's free agency (and ultimate re-signing with Nashville for a new two-year contract) played out on Twitter last summer.
