Wednesday's notes: A month until the deadline, but NHL trade talk is buzzing

Last weekend's wheeling and dealing has the hockey reporters in full Trade Deadline mode these days, with speculation and rumors swirling around a number of  players and teams.

After the jump, we've got reaction to last night's shootout loss to Phoenix, some tidbits you may not know about Nashville Predators prospect Colin Wilson, and some back-and-forth between mainstream reporters and hockey bloggers as to whether the Ilya Kovalchuk-to-L.A. rumors have any merit...
