Wasn't Kleinhammer some 80's German Techno group?

Here’s hoping that the split continues tonight. Keep those guys apart.

If not, that certainly sounds like one!

Looks like Klein found his slapshot

Not much of a crowd

With the Ducks out of it, their energy should be low. Gotta take advantage!

speaking of ATL...

NHL On The Fly last night said we started our 4 game road trip 0 and 2, it’s really 1 and 1, we did beat ATL, right? those guys rarely make a mistake but they sure did last night….. bad enough that we lost….

by hockeydekefreak on Mar 12, 2010 10:20 PM EST up reply actions

Yay!

2-on-1 and Arnott took the shot rather than pass! Didn’t score, but a good sign.

The opportunity was there and he took it. Some others are a little to pass happy.

two extra cross-checks after the whistle to Marty!, get in there and face wash someone!

I’d rather see them take the PP, gotta win thus one.

Better check Neidermayer for blood.

That was a soft high stick, but a penalty none the less. Would’ve like to see the PP get some momentum early on.

by jerseypredsfan on Mar 12, 2010 10:39 PM EST reply actions

we gotta score now, lets kick it up!

by hockeydekefreak on Mar 12, 2010 10:41 PM EST reply actions

OK...

Besides that scary puck handling….Peks looked good that period

by hockeydekefreak on Mar 12, 2010 10:46 PM EST reply actions

observations

—I could watch Weber shoot all day. That was even more awesome, because as Terry said, he kinda told Arnott no thanks on the first pass and came back with an absolute rocket.

— Rinne does look good (no jinx). I can think of three times my heart skipped at least one beat with him handling the puck, though.

—I’m still not sure who stole our powerplay.

—Gotta break their forecheck. Its suffocating.

First period

Some good hockey and a goal for us. They are beating us on the boards and doing a good job pinching in the neutral zone, though. We need to carry a little more speed into their zone and watch the bad passes in the d zone. They will capitalize on one of these, eventually. Klein major mistake count – 0.

by cisar on Mar 12, 2010 10:53 PM EST reply actions

Perry should have got a face-wash for spearing at Rinne like that

needless to say it didn’t work out

Crispy's right

Wilson had a great chance and passed way over to Tootoo instead… Gotta shoot it!

Can they capitalize?

They should bus people over from the Titans’ stadium. That is the least they could do. And by ‘they’, I mean the city of Nashville.

by cisar on Mar 12, 2010 11:32 PM EST up reply actions

Only in Nashville would we have a beautiful pedestrian bridge that leads to a parking lot no one can park in (unless there is a football game, of course)….bogus!

I'm feeling good about this game

But then again, I was last night at this time too…

Off topic but just found it out

Paul Kariya’s sister, Noriko, is a boxer.
Preds played better that period than in the first. We have to come out strong in the third. Pekka is playing tough. Klein major mistake count still zero.
I have yelled his name at home games in the hope that he just needs a little support to get better. I will continue my experiment next week.

Is that what it is? I though I was hearing things.

No Joke. It’s really bothering me.

by Hoelke11 on Mar 13, 2010 12:01 AM EST up reply actions

Klein

Klein just made his first major mistake. Luckily it didn’t cost us. He needs to clear those. Not bad, though. Held it off until halfway through the third.

hey guys … how are the two teams playing tonight?

Pretty good Ang. Tight defensive game. Lots of good shots and saves.

NOOOOOO!!!!!!!! They were on the ice together and almost blew it.

Has Boyd impressed anyone else tonight?

Yes, but I was already impressed. Sometimes a change of scenery makes all the difference. Hope he continues to improve.

This has been only the second game I’ve gotten to watch him. The last one being the fiasco last night

What a relief

Nice to see a full effort. Congrats to Peks. Just what the team needed.

by jerseypredsfan on Mar 13, 2010 12:25 AM EST reply actions

Alright!! we needed that!

- Klein-Boullion, why did it take so long to get them paired up?…sheesh… it’s working though, all in all good D tonight

- great effort, but would have liked some more goals, and more shots on goal from our top players…19, 26, 71, 11, and a few too many passes

- Pekka played great and got the SO, but I want to see a string of wins put together before I feel better our goaltending, and (broken record) that pack-handling needs to improve

by hockeydekefreak on Mar 13, 2010 12:26 AM EST reply actions

Whoohoo! agreed.

Good win. Kleinhammer scared me a little there, late. Pekka was tough. We didn’t give them too many great chances and it paid off. D line pairings worked out. Carry this momentum into L.A. Please!

by cisar on Mar 13, 2010 12:27 AM EST reply actions

This is starting to disturb me

If you are 6-5-2, you are not 1 game over .500, you are 1 game UNDER .500. That last number, the ‘2’, those are losses. Overtime loss – Key Word: LOSS

by cisar on Mar 13, 2010 12:30 AM EST reply actions

Winning percentage vs. Points percentage

It’s annoying, but points percentage is what everyone focuses on. .550 is really the new “average”…

whooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

WIN!

Hey, look, part of my prediction came TRUE. Write it down, folks.
