Predators scoreboard watch: Snow vs. Fire in Denver
The lone game on tonight's NHL schedule with significance for Nashville Predators fans takes place in Denver, where the Calgary Flames face the Avalanche. This presents an interesting conundrum; do Preds fans pull for Colorado, in order to keep Calgary 6 points behind Nashville in 9th place, or would a Flames win help by keeping the Avs within striking distance, just 3 points ahead of the Preds?
No matter what, we want to see this one end in regulation.

I would rather play Cristobal Huet than Roberto Luongo. Go Avs.

It’s possible. LA and COL still play three times, so if LA puts a hurt on them they can pass them and help the Preds out at the same time. PHX is still the problem for a NSH – LA first round match up. The Preds still have two games against the ‘Yotes so we can make up 4 points there, but there would still be another 4 – 5 points to pass them in the standings. I’m only scared of SJ and CHI in a series, so better than 7th is what I would hope for.
