Predators scoreboard watch: Nashville fans hope Minnesota drives Detroit wild
The lone game tonight which impacts the Nashville Predators takes place in Detroit, where the Minnesota Wild will take on the Red Wings. While not completely mathematically eliminated from playoff contention, the Wild are basically playing out the string at this point. Since the Red Wings are coming into Nashville tomorrow night for a big game, the Preds will want to see them taxed as much as possible in this one.
For Detroit, this marks an opportunity to make up ground on the Preds. The Red Wings have two games in hand on Nashville, and are four points behind heading into tonight's action:

A 6-2 game? Yeah, Minnie’s just playing out the string.
More fun than a stick to the face!
