Around SBN: Devils Beat Rangers, Head To Stanley Cup Finals

Thursday's thoughts: NHL on Facebook, hopefully not on steroids

This opening round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs has been tremendously entertaining, and we finally got our first multiple-overtime game last night, between Boston and Buffalo. We haven't hit OT yet between the Predators and Blackhawks... might that change this evening?

After the jump, we have several pieces setting the table for a big Game 4 tonight at Bridgestone Arena (7:30 p.m. Central start, on Fox Sports TN here in Nashville). In addition, the NHL announces new Facebook-related technology, and a report comes from Sports Illustrated which raises the specter of steroid use in hockey...

Last Night in the Playoffs

Boston 3, Buffalo 2: They're hailing Satan in Beantown, as Miro Satan scored in double-overtime to give the Bruins a 3-1 series lead.

Washington 6, Montreal 3: This one is following expectations, as Alex Ovechkin scored twice.

Vancouver 6, Los Angeles 4: The Canucks tied up this series at 2-2 as they head back to Vancouver.
