Nashville Predators trade Jason Arnott to New Jersey Devils for 2nd round pick and Matt Halischuk

PrintPer the CBC's Jeff Marek, Jason Arnott has been traded to the New Jersey Devils for a 2nd round pick and roster player Matt Halischuk.
A word from USA Today's hockey writer, Kevin Allen:
The Predators' priority is to upgrade offense: they now have $4.5 million to spend on a player with better hands than captain Arnott.

If this is just a tease to make us think we’ll actually pick up a talented offensive guy with good years left I will personally hunt DP down. Please. Mr. Poile, the fan base needs hope….
