Nashville Predators to open 2010-11 home season vs. Anaheim
Ben Wright of Atlanta's Blueland Blog has a list of all the NHL home openers for the upcoming 2010-11 season, and it looks like the Nashville Predators will open up their home schedule against Anaheim on Saturday, October 9. The Predators don't appear on the list as anyone else's opponent during their home opener, so that may well be the kickoff to their season as well.
The Preds are also saying that 5 of their first 6 games will be at home, including games against Pittsburgh and Washington. Can Sidney Crosby & Alex Ovechkin boost the early-season attendance numbers?
Tomorrow, the NHL releases the full NHL schedule, but the real party starts a couple hours afterward, when I release the latest version of the Super Schedule...
