If Dan can get that much, just imagine how much Shea’s going to get next year when he signs with another team (sad face)

Yea, I’d love to know what made them decide he was worth that much. Who in their right mind would look at his skills and stats and say “JACKPOT! We’ve got our 27 million dollar man right here, people!” Just insane.

Stats...

are relative to the team. If Hamhuis put up X stats with the Preds, the upside with better players around him on all lines will equal greater stats.

His stats won’t change enough to make him worth 4.5 million. Although, seeing as how the Nucks have no defense but their goalie, I can see him being worth that much to them.

just disappointing

to hear Hammer say in interviews that he felt totally anonymous in Nashville. I know he liked the community, but it’s just one more reminder that our fanbase isn’t where it needs to be (yet).
